Dust Monitoring and Alerting System

  • Dust Monitoring & Alerting System (DMAS) alerts Plant Owners / O&M team on when to clean the Solar panels
  • It is a Data driven system which continuusly monitors the level of soiling on Solar panels
  • It helps in data driven rationalizing O&M Cleaning schedules of the PV Plant
  • It can be optionally connected with Pyranometers and Rain sensors to further enhance its Alerting cycles
  • DMAS comes bundled with Web dashboard for Real-time monitoring

wiseNET Mesh Master with Gateway

wiseNET Mesh Master with Gateway

  • ​Mesh Master is Data concentrator which collects data from all nodes in a Wireless Network
  • It can also directly interface to Inverters, Weather Stations, Transformer Panels, Energy Meters etc. over MODBUS RS485 or TCP/IP
  • Collected data is routed to the Gateway which in turn uploads it to a Server/Cloud. It can optionally route the collected data to a Local SCADA system as well
  • The Mesh Master Gateway can be connected to Internet either via LAN cable, WIFI or 3G/4G USB Dongle
  • In case of Internet disruption, the collected data would be stored in Local memory. Minute by Minute data of up to 60 days can be stored in Local Memory. Once the Internet service resumes, this data is uploaded to Server with their original time stamps
  • Data transfer between Server and Mesh Master Gateway can be realized using JSON as well as MQTT format
  • The Gateway can be used to remotely restart selectively any given Wireless Node within its Network
  • Complete wireless network health can be monitored by remotely connecting to the Gateway

  • Used for extending range of wiseNET nodes. Each Repeater extends the network range by 100 meters Line of Sight

  • It is a Multi channel system where the String Currents are measured using its built-in Hall Current Sensors
  • Currents up to 20A can be directly measured within +/- 100mA accuracy
  • 2KV isolation is maintained across channels of the strings
  • Optional IP65 Enclosure with all currents tapped via MC4 connectors and glands

wiseNET - A Technology overview

wiseNET - A Technology overview

  • It is a Last Mile Wireless Connectivity Platform for connection of all Solar Components spread across solar plant to the Control Room.
  • It is a Network of 'wiseNET nodes', arranged in Mesh Topology
  • Each wiseNET node consists of hardware to log inputs from diverse sources, such as:
    • Current, Voltage, Temperature Measurement
    • MODBUS communication over Rs485 and TCP/IP links
  • The wiseNET node assembles the logged data into packets and transmits them at regular intervals
  • The packets sent by each Node are “routed” over the Mesh network and ultimately reach the “Mesh Master” usually placed in the Control Room.
  • The Mesh Master consolidates data from all wiseNET Nodes and interfaces to a “Gateway Point”
  • The Gateway Point routes all the wirelessly collected data to a Cloud/Server and also for local SCADA
